The 69th spring congress of the Gesellschaft für Arbeitswissenschaft e. V. (GfA) was held under the theme of “Sustainable work and learning”, and the contributions made by the MTM ASSOCIATION e. V. were a perfect fit. Manuela Ostermeier, project manager for digitization and internationalization of MTM training, used the example of e-learning developed by her team to explain the importance of the digital transformation of training products for a globalized working world.

At the beginning of the new year, the EAWS instructor team of the MTM ASSOCIATION e. V. met at the training site in Zeuthen to discuss the further development of the EAWS training courses (EAWS, EAWS practitioner, EAWS practitioner refresher and EAWS license course). One of the most important topics was the integration of the MTM software TiCon into EAWS training.
The MTM ASSOCIATION e. V. and the Fondazione Ergo-MTM Italia are further developing the EAWS® ergonomics assessment method as part of a consortium project. EAWS 2.0 is intended to synchronize workplace design, method planning, time measurement and ergonomics assessment in one process.

With the seal of approval “approved by MTM ASSOCIATION e. V., the MTM ASSOCIATION e. V. has now confirmed the conformity of the ergonomic assessment in AssemblySuite™ with the requirements and standards defined in the test criteria. The technical evaluation was carried out by Fondazione Ergo-MTM Italia. Italy also saw the first contact with MTM and the EAWS® ergonomics standard, as TAKTIQ Managing Director Dr. Simon Altemeier revealed in an interview.
The TMU Calculator® from the software manufacturer Cut Corners GmbH, the first mobile MTM application for determining target times, bears the seal of quality “approved by MTM ASSOCIATION”.
