The general meeting of the MTM ASSOCIATION e. V. elected a new board of directors on October 18, 2023. At the constituent meeting, the board members elected Martin Haselhuhn, Volkswagen AG, as chairman of the board. Joachim Rath and Oskar Heer were dismissed from the board.
On September 1, the MTM Board held its last meeting of the 2020-2023 period at the MTM Institute in Zeuthen. The main topics were the preparation of the annual financial statements 2022, the current business development 2023, the budget planning 2024 and the preparation of the MTM General Assembly 2023.
On 29 and 30 August, the International Forum Productivity and Ergonomics for the Future (PE4F) took place for the first time. The free online event was organised by the Mexican MTM Association (member of the global network One-MTM) and was aimed at professionals and managers in production, industrial engineering, ergonomics and IT.
At the MTM SUMMIT 2023, the meeting of the MTM community on October 18 and 19 in Hamburg and online, Michael Wiesinger, Vice President of Commercialization, Kodiak Robotics, Mountain View, USA, will present the latest developments in autonomous driving. Artificial intelligence plays a key role here. We spoke with Michael Wiesinger in advance about his passion for future technologies.
On October 18 and 19, 2023, the MTM community will meet for the MTM SUMMIT – International Human Work Forum in Hamburg and online at summit.mtm.org. This year, the focus of the MTM ASSOCIATION e. V. event will be on the methodology.
By the beginning of August of the MTM training year 2023, more than 3,000 participants worldwide had taken part in an e-learning course, a webinar or a classroom event. The dissemination of MTM trainings stands out in this regard: Last year, over 800 trainings took place in more than 20 countries around the world. This includes trainings in countries such as Malaysia, Finland, Honduras and the Philippines.
TiCon for Windows recently received an update. The established time management software for the MTM application on the Microsoft platform enables the integration of numerous modules such as Ticon Base, TiCon Takt, TiCon EAWS®, TiCon HWD®, TiCon Planungscockpit, TiCon Prokon, TiCon Time Study as well as TiCon Prozessdesign. With the update to version 4.08, the software solution comes with various innovations. They mainly concern the line balancing.
Environment, social and governance, or ESG for short, are important factors for the long-term value creation and risk management of companies, especially in times of constant change. The EAWS International Symposium (EIS), which will be held again this year as part of the MTM SUMMIT 2023, will focus on the S, Social, factor in the manufacturing industry. Also in focus: GOOD PRODUCTIVITY.
The fourth meeting of the One-MTM partner network to promote the worldwide dissemination of the MTM method standard recently took place in Zeuthen b. Berlin, at the MTM Institute site. One-MTM partners from Italy, China, Austria, Germany, Brazil, Mexico, Hungary, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Spain, Poland and the UK participated either in person on site or online via web conference. Their main topic: Flexible training with One-MTM.
