MobileCamp, one of the largest German barcamps on the subject of mobile development, took place at the Faculty of Computer Science at the TU Dresden at the end of June. The organizer is the non-profit association MobileCamp e. V., which focuses on the professional exchange, in particular on mobile communication, mobile technologies, end devices and applications as well as the associated social developments and effects.
The who’s who of the Dresden-based software development companies discussed i.a. on web developments, news in the fields of programming languages, tools and methods as well as current developments in the field of AI. Deutsche MTM-Gesellschaft mbH with the business unit digital solutions was one of the sponsors of the event and was also represented with its own session in the lecture program.
Marco Kaufmann, Team Lead Web Development at Deutsche MTM-Gesellschaft mbH, spoke about “Kotlin, Angular and TypeScript in a business web application” and explained the bridging between different web technologies using the example of the MTM software solution TiCon for Web. He personally found the MobileCamp lectures on ELM, GraphDB and mutation testing as well as the keynote on the currently much discussed neural models GPT-3 and DALL-E 2 particularly interesting. “The special value of the camp, however, clearly lies in the exchange of experiences,” says the software developer.
A note for all those interested in TiCon:
The new cloud product from Deutsche MTM-Gesellschaft mbH will be launched in autumn. Details on the functionalities of TiCon for Web and the official starting signal will be given at the MTM SUMMIT on October 19th and 20th, 2022 in Hamburg; free online tickets at summit.mtm.org.
