The MTM China Forum for Industrial Engineering is a conference initiated by the MTM ASSOCIATION e. V. and organized by MTM (Shanghai) Enterprise Management Consulting Co. The aim is to support companies from various industries in China in the practical application of MTM in the product development or design phase, in the planning of manufacturing processes, in ongoing production and in continuous improvement. The theme of this year’s forum on May 16 in Suzhou is “Prospective and Digital – the Future of Work Design”.
Focus on methods and technologies for digital work planning
Specialists and managers from imk Industrial Intelligence, NVIDIA, BMW Brilliance Automotive, FAW-Volkswagen, BSH Home Appliances Group and many other well-known companies will discuss with participants the use of methods and technologies for digital work planning and present best practices for combining MTM with automation and digitalization technologies.
German contributions: EAWS® and the simulation software ema Work Designer
Experts from Germany are also among the speakers. Manuela Ostermeier, Team Leader Digitalization and Internationalization of MTM Training, MTM ASSOCIATION e. V., will present the ergonomics assessment tool EAWS® (Ergonomic Assessment Worksheet). The title of her presentation is: “EAWS® to guarantee good productivity – development and application”. Current developments and perspectives in the EAWS 2.0 project are also on the agenda of the MTM SUMMIT on October 16-17, 2024 in Hamburg and online. Further information: summit.mtm.org

The second speaker from Germany is Prof. Dr. Lars Fritzsche, imk Industrial Intelligence GmbH. He will speak at the MTM China Forum about the use of simulation software in virtual workplace design and process planning of industrial production processes using a 3D human model.
