The One-MTM partner network is celebrating its 3rd birthday these days – and has every reason to celebrate. Because it is making great strides. On the one hand, this concerns the number of MTM training courses completed. More than 1,600 of the certificates issued by the MTM ASSOCIATION e. V. last year came via the partners in the One-MTM network. The digitalization of MTM training has played a significant role in this development. Without webinars and e-learning, the partner network, which was launched at the same time as the Corona pandemic, would probably not have been successful.
“One-MTM – one global standard,” says Dr. Thomas Finsterbusch, Head of the MTM Academy and One-MTM Operations Officer. In three years, he says, it has been possible, for example, to standardize the MTM practitioner qualification across all One-MTM partners. “Currently, we are also working on implementing the MTM Instructor qualification in a standardized manner internationally,” says Finsterbusch. The fact that today interested parties can be trained as MTM or EAWS practitioners at any time anywhere in the world in different languages according to uniform regulations is the merit of all partners in the One-MTM network.
New partners in Spain and the USA
In addition, two new faces are bringing a breath of fresh air. Tony Campbell, who worked as an MTM instructor in South Africa until last summer, is now the contact person for MTM training in the U.S. and also manages the business of MTM-PSC (Productivity Service Corporation), the U.S. subsidiary of Deutsche MTM-Gesellschaft mbH. In Spain, David Calvo has joined the company. He is managing director at ITEMSA PRODUCTIVIDAD, S.L. in Barcelona, and works as an MTM instructor wherever MTM training is in demand.
MTM-UAS® E-Learning soon also in Italian
2022 saw a number of innovations in MTM training. These included the MTM-1® Base E-Learning with online examination and the MTM-UAS® E-Learning in English and Spanish. In March of this year, the MTM-UAS® E-Learning in Italian will be completed. Another important item on the development team’s agenda is the revision or redesign of the exams in all building block systems and languages. Accordingly, the MTM ASSOCIATION e. V. training and examination regulations have also been made multilingual.
MTM for students – 365 days anywhere in the world
Of particular interest to students: MTM-1® Base and MTM-UAS are now available as e-learning outside the lecture-free period, namely 365 days a year, freely accessible from anywhere in the world – at reduced prices. The prerequisite for access is a valid certificate of enrollment and prior payment for the training. There are plans to expand the range of languages offered in the e-learning courses for students as well.
