Tony Campbell is one of the players in the international partner network One-MTM, which is dedicated to the uniform dissemination of the MTM method standard and provides MTM products and services to member companies and customers of the MTM ASSOCIATION e. V. all over the world.
In the first half of the MTM training year 2022 alone, almost 3,000 participants took part in an e-learning course, webinar or classroom event. This is well above the average level of interest in recent years. Training courses that were particularly in demand were MTM-1® Base and MTM-UAS®.
In the most recent MTM Practitioners and Instructors Lounge, the focus was on the sustainability of MTM training. Specifically, the question was, what’s next? Who accompanies the freshly graduated MTM practitioner in his first steps, in the proper application of MTM or the adaptation of what has been learned to the concrete situation in the company? More sustainability requires more support from the stakeholders, the panel said.
Preparations for the MTM SUMMIT –International Human Work Forum on October 19 and 20, 2022 are in full swing. 32 presentations and sessions are planned, 43 speakers and experts from 26 industrial companies, software providers and institutions have confirmed their participation. The top topics: intelligently networked IE systems, MTM in indirect areas, lean assessment, machine learning, exoskeletons, digital work planning and much more.

V., MTM (Shanghai) Enterprise Management Consulting Co., Ltd. organized the “MTM China Forum for Industrial Engineering” as an online event in July 2022. 230 IE experts and labor scientists from over 70 companies and universities in China actively participated in this forum and intensively exchanged ideas on the topic of “MTM in Industrial Digitization”.

With the seal of approval “approved by MTM ASSOCIATION e. V., the MTM ASSOCIATION e. V. has now confirmed the conformity of the ergonomic assessment in AssemblySuite™ with the requirements and standards defined in the test criteria. The technical evaluation was carried out by Fondazione Ergo-MTM Italia. Italy also saw the first contact with MTM and the EAWS® ergonomics standard, as TAKTIQ Managing Director Dr. Simon Altemeier revealed in an interview.
MobileCamp, one of the largest German barcamps on the subject of mobile development, took place at the Faculty of Computer Science at the TU Dresden at the end of June. The organizer is the non-profit association MobileCamp e. V., which focuses on the professional exchange, in particular on mobile communication, mobile technologies, end devices and applications as well as the associated social developments and effects.
