The fourth meeting of the One-MTM partner network to promote the worldwide dissemination of the MTM method standard recently took place in Zeuthen near Berlin, at the MTM Institute site. One-MTM partners from Italy, China, Austria, Germany, Brazil, Mexico, Hungary, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Spain, Poland and the UK participated either in person on site or online via web conference. Their main topic: Flexible training with One-MTM.
Qualified professionals essential for correct MTM application
For Simon Taylor, vice president of the MTM Association Great Britain, the standardized teaching materials of the MTM Academy play a crucial role in the development of qualified specialists, who are indispensable for correct MTM application. The digitization of training in the form of webinars and e-learning is also beneficial to the international spread of MTM, he said. “A big added value, for example, is that the courses can be taken at flexible times,” Taylor adds.
All One-MTM partners have committed to the training standard of the MTM ASSOCIATION e. V.. To ensure efficient and consistent translation of the MTM Academy’s teaching materials into the required languages, the team led by Manuela Ostermeier, Head of Digitization and Internationalization at MTM Training, works with an AI-supported translation tool. There, individual terms and entire text passages are systematically stored in two databases.
Cross-border deployment of MTM instructors – One-MTM makes it possible
The MTM Academy’s international learning platform training.mtm.org is available to companies or their employees as well as MTM instructors worldwide. “The fact that instructors can be deployed across countries via the One-MTM partner network is a great advantage for companies operating worldwide,” emphasizes Thomas Gehart, President of the Austrian MTM Association. In Zeuthen, the One-MTM partners not only learned about the status of digitization and internationalization of the teaching materials, but also about the development status of software solutions for MTM application. Herwig Weidle, business unit manager of the digital solutions division, gave the One-MTM partners an overview of the products and modules of the standard software TiCon as well as the different licenses. He mentioned the Discovery Package as a possibility to test e.g. TiCon for SAP and to convince oneself of the features as a user. He also presented marketing materials provided by Deutsche MTM-Gesellschaft mbH to support MTM partners in their daily sales activities.
