At its most recent meeting, the Board of Directors of the MTM ASSOCIATION e. V. honored the many years of voluntary commitment shown by the leaders of the MTM/IE regional groups in Germany by appointing them as “MTM Fellows”. Thomas Bärlin (RG Baden-Württemberg), Denis Domula (RG Nord), Alfred Hefft (RG Nord), Christian Laue (RG Thüringen/Hessen), Hans-Thomas Mai (RG Bayern) and Dr. Ricardo Schönherr (RG Sachsen) have rendered outstanding services to the dissemination and further development of the MTM process language, the demand-oriented development of the training program, and the appropriate and professional application of the MTM process in operational practice, was the reason given. The board had decided to discontinue MTM/IE regional group work in the previous (face-to-face) format. Instead, a wide range of digital events is now available to members, customers and interested parties.
Board of Directors appoints two substitute members
As Christian Köstler, DEHN SE, and Thorsten Junghanns, Airbus Defence and Space GmbH, resigned from the board of directors this year at their own request, the board of directors of MTM ASSOCIATION e. V. elected two substitute members for the remaining term of office at its most recent meeting: Michael Berschneider for DEHN SE and Christoph Gammel for Airbus Defence and Space GmbH.
Review of the association event of the year

Not only the range of topics at MTM SUMMIT 2022 was broad. The accompanying trade exhibition also offered plenty of information and practical insights into the working world of today and tomorrow. Save the date: MTM SUMMIT and General Meeting 2023
After the SUMMIT is before the SUMMIT. We are already in the midst of planning the program for the 2023 edition; the date of October 18 and 19, 2023 can already be marked in advance by the MTM community and interested parties. Once again, a hybrid event is planned – with a presence in Hamburg and online. The contact persons of the corporate members and the individual members of the MTM ASSOCIATION e. V. should also mark the date October 18, 2023 in their calendars, because that is when the general meeting will elect a new board of directors as scheduled.
