Human work in the future, artificial intelligence and digital work planning – YOU & AI & IE for short – are the main topics of the MTM SUMMIT on October 16 and 17, 2024 in Hamburg and online at summit.mtm.org. This time, renowned AI, MTM and IE experts from AGCO Corporation, Daimler Truck, Delta Labs, Halocline GmbH, Kramer-Werke GmbH and MotionMiners GmbH, among others, will take part. We were also able to attract speakers from REFA and TU Dortmund University for the lecture program.
Bestselling author talks about artificial intelligence
We are especially excited about Prof. Dr. Anne Scherer. She is co-founder of Delta Labs and a renowned expert in consumer psychology and technology. With her TEDxTalk on human-machine interaction, which has been viewed over 1.8 million times, and as co-author of the best-selling book “You & AI”, she has made a significant contribution to the debate on Artificial Intelligence. “At Delta Labs, we firmly believe that the future of AI lies in the harmonious integration of the human perspective,” said Anne Scherer. Her presentation, “You & AI: Artificial Intelligence and How it Shapes Our Lives,” will provide an in-depth look at the synergies between humans and AI, and how these advanced technologies complement the way we work, make decisions, and create.
The Magic of TARGET and CURRENT states in a tandem lecture
Another keynote will be given by Dr. Sascha Feldhorst, CEO and co-founder of MotionMiners GmbH, which has developed from an idea while jogging, to winning the Innovation Award of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, to an internationally active company. “Our aim is to provide a digital analysis toolbox for human activities that continuously improves people’s working lives on the shopfloor,” says Feldhorst..
Together with Prof. Dr. Peter Kuhlang, CEO MTM ASSOCIATION e. V., he will show in the lecture “The magic of TARGET and CURRENT states – How machine learning combines MTM and Motion-Mining” how the digital determination of motion data, Artificial Intelligence and the application of the MTM method standard interlock and thus pave the way from (subjective) gut feeling to data-based (objective) facts.
The cooperation with the MTM ASSOCIATION e. V. is no coincidence. Peter Kuhlang heads the MTM Institute’s research and development activities on the use of new technologies and Artificial Intelligence in work planning. “I am convinced that in the future, industrial engineers will no longer be occupied with collecting and managing time and ergonomics data, but will actually design work – efficiently, intelligently and creatively with the help of AI, digital technologies and the integrated time standard MTM”.
