With TiCon for Windows and the EAWS® (Ergonomic Assessment Worksheet) module, ergonomics experts from SMA Solar Technology AG and software experts from the Digital Solutions division of Deutsche MTM-Gesellschaft mbH have developed a standard solution to facilitate human resource planning.
The right employee in the right job!
The more workplaces in the company and the more precisely the individual activities are described in terms of physical strain and ergonomic risk, the easier it is to identify workplaces for people with reduced or impaired performance and age-appropriate workplaces. The result is an “ergonomics map” of the company.
More data – more analysis options
“The search for a suitable workstation is determined by the individual qualifications and abilities of the person in question and not least by the variety of products in the company,” says Stephan Meyer, Head of Customer Success in the Digital Solutions division at Deutsche MTM-Gesellschaft mbH. The solution lies in the evaluation options for ergonomics data in the EAWS® module of the TiCon for Windows software. When entering ergonomic data, it is now also taken into account whether the activity is performed while walking or standing. The EAWS® ergonomics evaluation procedure itself remains unaffected.
The presentation of this workforce planning solution at a face-to-face meeting of the EAWS User Group Germany and at the MTM SUMMIT 2023 aroused the interest of many companies. The new evaluation options are intended to represent a cross-industry standard in the industry. This standard is available to every user of the EAWS® module in TiCon for Windows.
TiCon in the EAWS training program
MTM’s TiCon software is now integrated into the training EAWS® training. This gives the participants more time to focus on the substantive aspects of ergonomics assessment and the safe, accurate application of EAWS®. The combination with TiCon makes it possible:
- to interpret data more quickly,
- simulate the effects of changes and manually recalculate and
- understand the results.
