How can productivity and ergonomics in assembly be analyzed faster and more efficiently?
A large share of industrial assembly processes is still carried out manually – with significant implications for productivity, ergonomics, and competitiveness. However, traditional analysis methods are time-consuming, complex, and require extensive expert knowledge.
A current research project, led by our Head of Digitalization & Automation of MTM Methods, Martin Benter, together with our CEO, Peter Kuhlang, demonstrates: with motion capture systems and a digital assistance system, productivity analyses can now be performed automatically, in great detail, and within a fraction of the time. This opens up entirely new opportunities for companies to systematically improve workplaces and processes – while reducing effort at the same time.
