Time studies and MTM analysis in a single database<\/h6>

Industrial Engineering at DEHN SE, a leading international provider of intelligent solutions in the field of lightning, surge and occupational safety, was faced with the challenge of making work planning more effective. This meant creating time studies and MTM analyses in a single database and tool, ensuring transparency and traceability of target times directly in the SAP work plan, and mapping complex production structures and parallel processes. With more than 4,000 devices and components offered by the MTM member company, mastering product variance is a key factor for the company’s success. The solution was to switch to TiCon for SAP and to use TiCon TS (Time Study), the application developed by Deutsche MTM-Gesellschaft mbH for the qualified execution of time studies in the manufacturing industry, logistics and services.<\/p>

The method planners at DEHN SE use TiCon for SAP to create time data across plants and without interfaces, to set up a structured database (e.g. with customer-specific data cards) and thus to save time during process analysis. The fact that MTM AVO analyses can be carried out directly in the process details contributes decisively to transparency in the determination of target times.<\/p>

Dominik Pfann, Process Planner at DEHN SE, is more than satisfied with the results: „TiCon helps us to understand and optimize our processes. It is a great tool to connect the worlds of SAP and MTM“.
