MTM on the road, was the motto for the first time in this second half of the year at the AutoErg meeting at Schaeffler AG in Erlangen. In his keynote speech, Dr. Steffen Rast, Head of the Ergonomics Department at the Deutsche MTM-Gesellschaft mbH, focused on the ergonomic risk assessment of long-cycle activities.<\/p>\n

DIGITalIZATION OF ERGONOMICS ASSESSMENT<\/h6>\n

The Mexican MTM Association, partner of the MTM ASSOCIATION e. V. and member of the global network One-MTM, is organizing the International Forum Productivity & Ergonomics for the Future (PE4F) on August 29 and 30, 2023<\/b> in presence in Mexico and as a free online event. Prof. Dr. Peter Kuhlang, CEO MTM ASSOCIATION e. V., will present the work of the One-MTM partner network on August 29<\/b> – a good opportunity for interested companies to find out about the opportunities for MTM training at international production sites. A presentation on the digitization of ergonomics assessment will be given by Manuela Ostermeier, Project Manager Digitalization & Internationalization of MTM Training. In addition, Tony Campbell, Managing Director of MTM Productivity Service Corporation, USA, will speak about the international training offering.<\/p>\n

EXPERTS PROVIDE INFORMATION ON THE MTMMOTION\u00ae INTERFACE SOLUTION<\/h6>\n

The next date on the MTM calendar is September<\/strong> 13\/14, 2023<\/b>. Prof. Dr. Peter Kuhlang and Dr. Martin Benter, Team Leader Digitization and Automation of MTM-Methods , will represent the MTM ASSOCIATION e. V. as partners of imk Industrial Intelligence gmbH at the IIC 2023 in Fulda. The focus there will be on innovations in digital planning and production. Among other things, the two MTM experts will be providing information at the exhibition on MTMmotion\u00ae the new interface solution that translates digital motion data into an MTM analysis at the touch of a button – and, depending on the application, into the corresponding MTM process module system.<\/p>\n

At the symposium „Smart ICT and AR in the Work Context“ on September 19, 2023<\/strong> in Dortmund, organized by the Bundesanstalt f\u00fcr Arbeitsschutz und Arbeitsmedizin (BAuA), Prof. Dr. Peter Kuhlang will once again be in action. At the symposium, he will speak about the derivation of MTM-UAS\u00ae analyses using virtual reality and MTMmotion\u00ae.<\/p>\n

The MTM experts will also be making a stop at the Future of Industrial Engineering Day (FIED) in Dortmund on September 21, 2023<\/b>. The event is being organized by Motion Miners GmbH, with which the MTM ASSOCIATION e. V. works closely on the digitalization of work planning. A joint appearance by the two partners is planned at LATC 2024 on March 14 and 15, 2024 in Mannheim. Dr. Sascha Feldhorst, CEO MotionMiners GmbH, and Prof. Dr. Peter Kuhlang, CEO MTM ASSOCIATION e. V., will present a project for the determination of target performance and load ceilings in parcel and delivery services and show how the digital determination of movement data, AI and the application of the MTM method standard intertwine.<\/p>\n

THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE YEAR: MTM SUMMIT 2023<\/h6>\n

After presentations at the WGAB Research Symposium in Sydney, Australia, at the end of September and a working visit to the subsidiary of the German MTM Society in Shanghai, China, the highlight of the year is now upon us for CEO Peter Kuhlang and the entire MTM community: the MTM SUMMIT on October 18 and 19, 2023<\/strong>. This year’s motto of the International Human Work Forum is „Methods-Time Measurement – prospective, digital, global“<\/b>. Experts from business and academia will share their expertise and innovative approaches to the digitalization of MTM application with the MTM community – on site in Hamburg and online at summit.mtm.org.<\/p>\n
