The Digital Solutions business unit of Deutsche MTM-Gesellschaft mbH has expanded its product portfolio for MTM applications in the cloud. In addition to MTM-Easy\u00ae for the simple determination of production times without MTM knowledge, TiCon for Web is now available as a further software-as-a-service solution. TiCon for Web is ideal for getting started with systematic time management – completely without Excel. The big advantage: no complex software installation in the company’s IT landscape is required; the application runs in the web browser and can be connected to a PLM \/ ERP system via a web interface. The Deutsche MTM-Gesellschaft mbH in Dresden operates the solution and also takes care of backups and updates.<\/p>\n

At a glance: value-added and non-value-added time shares<\/strong><\/p>\n

Currently, TiCon for Web can manage time data determined with MTM-UAS\u00ae and existing estimated times. The user uses the standardized MTM data cards or company-specific data cards, the creation of which is offered as a service by the Deutsche MTM-Gesellschaft mbH. Time data existing in the company can be imported into TiCon for Web by the support.<\/p>\n

The cloud-based planning tool evaluates work processes, displays value-added and non-value-added time components, and thus enables the user to easily and quickly derive measures to increase efficiency. In TiCon for Web, work processes can also be calculated with defined standard time elements and the target time for work processes and plans can be determined.<\/p>\n

MTM-UAS\u00ae – valid data based on a globally recognized method standard<\/strong><\/p>\n

Another plus: Time analysis with the MTM-UAS\u00ae process building block system, which is the most widely used worldwide, guarantees a valid database as the basis for correct business decisions. For the future, the development team of the Digital Solutions business unit also plans to make MTM methods such as MTM-1\u00ae, MTM-MEK\u00ae, EAWS\u00ae, MTM-HWD\u00ae and ProKon applicable in TiCon for Web. New features are planned for 2023, including evaluation of the time determination method, detailed display of different time types, and – continuously – improving the usability of TiCon for Web.<\/p>\n
