At the same time, economic pressure is mounting to produce more efficiently and cost-effectively.<\/p><h3 data-start=\"699\" data-end=\"724\"><strong data-start=\"703\" data-end=\"724\">INITIAL SITUATION<\/strong><\/h3><p data-start=\"726\" data-end=\"967\">The production of infusion solutions faces numerous challenges. The composition of medications and the associated production effort have changed significantly. Meanwhile, production volumes continue to grow while cost pressure intensifies.<\/p><p data-start=\"969\" data-end=\"1285\">A new layout and modified, non-productive shift activities further affect resource utilization. Numerous non\u2013value-adding tasks tie up valuable capacity without directly contributing to production. In addition, costs are often not allocated according to their actual origin, making targeted optimization difficult.<\/p><p data-start=\"1287\" data-end=\"1480\">Throughout all adjustments and improvement measures, strict <strong data-start=\"1347\" data-end=\"1365\">GMP principles<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1370\" data-end=\"1394\">cleanroom guidelines<\/strong> must, of course, be observed to ensure consistent quality and safety in production.<\/p><h3 data-start=\"1482\" data-end=\"1510\"><strong data-start=\"1486\" data-end=\"1510\">SOLUTION AND RESULTS<\/strong><\/h3><p data-start=\"1512\" data-end=\"1781\">To optimize resource utilization, a comprehensive <strong data-start=\"1562\" data-end=\"1611\">process assessment using MTM in the cleanroom<\/strong> was carried out.
